With the fall weather quickly approaching, restaurant goers are looking to enjoy a night out on the patio. Wake Forest has some great restaurants that offer outdoor seating along with great food!
If you are looking to grab a quick bite to eat with your family The Factory has different restaurants that offer outdoor seating. For Mexican cuisine Gonza Tacos y Tequila. Their chips and salsa are a favorite of mine. They also have a variety of Mexican infused dishes that are authentic but unique at the same time. Grab a cerveza and enjoy an evening on the patio while the kids have room to run around on the grass.
If you are in the mood for a quick bite to eat right next door to Gonza Tacos y Tequila is Village Deli. Village Deli is celebrating 20 years! This is a popular spot for lunch or grabbing a bite to eat after a soccer or baseball game. Village Deli offers a variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads. They have been featured in the Spectator and Metro Magazine for “Best Deli.” From 2015-2017 Indy Weekly has awarded them as the “Best Deli.” They offer covered outdoor seating or enjoy your meal in the sunshine on the patio!
Looking for an evening out eating fresh seafood that makes you think you are sitting on the beach? Shuckers is a local favorite off Rodgers Road that offers covered outdoor seating. Their menu offers a wide variety of seafood, pastas, and sandwiches. If you are looking for indoor seating they have an amazing oyster bar that serves oysters on the half shell raw or steamed. One of my favorite there is the steamed oysters that you shuck at your own risk. It’s like having your own oyster roast in the middle of Wake Forest. Shuckers is a great place for a family event or a date night out. Grab some friends and enjoy this great restaurant and their outdoor seating.
If you are just looking to grab a drink and listen to live music with friends on a summer evening or cool fall day head on over to Wine 101 in Wake Forest. Wine 101 has a large selection of beers and wine on tap. If you are not sure what you are in the mood for you can always ask the bartenders what they recommend. They have great taste! You can always cruise the aisles of the store to pick out your own drinks to enjoy there or to take home. Some evenings they have a food truck out front to grab a bite to eat while you enjoy the company of your friends. This bar gives a small town feel to a growing city to the residents of Wake Forest.
Stewart’s Bistro is a new favorite of mine. They offer homemade pancakes with fresh fruit that is in season. Try one of their coffees that exudes taste but also is a piece of art. Stewart’s, as the locals call it, has something for everyone. The staff makes you feel like you are sitting at home enjoying your morning coffee. With seating outside you can enjoy your fresh breakfast with the sun shining down.
