Wake Forest Parks & Rec Offers So Much!

Spring and Summer have sprung and the Wake Forest Parks and Rec Department is expecting a great Spring/Summer as evidenced by their offerings to the community! What is that I am speaking about? No way for me to cover it all but here is an attempt to give you a taste of what is available for residents of Wake Forest.

Whew! And that’s just the offerings for the Preschool aged children! One of my favorite offerings is the spring baseball league! The town owns wonderful fields at Flaherty Park. An affordable option for those players that are looking for a fun play environment without the intense coaching that can come from other area options. It’s fun to be at the fields on game day to see all of the pageantry and the sounds of kids playing. We often take our dog, Ozzy there as he looooves the attention that the little brothers and sisters give him!
