Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo

Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo

If you have never had a meal from a food truck you are seriously missing out! I was first introduced to food trucks when I lived in California for a few months in my much younger days. My family member suggested getting burritos from the local food truck called the “Roach Coach” and I seriously was very hesitant. Eventually I was talked into it and holy moly was it the BEST burrito I have ever had! 20 plus years later and I still talk about that burrito and how amazing it was and how skeptical I was of food coming from a road side truck. Boy have times changed, now you will see me seeking out food trucks wherever I go whether it be locally in the Triangle, on the west coast or even in Japan the food I’ve gotten from food trucks has never disappointed! Thankfully, Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo is happening this weekend!

With that being said those of you who live in Wake Forest and the surrounding areas are in for a treat on Sunday, October 28th! The Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo will be taking place again from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre parking lot on 405 S. Brooks Street. This event will be held rain or shine and most of the trucks accept credit cards! I do recommend bringing cash just in case!

In addition to the wonderful and tasty foods being served there will also be fun for the little ones at the Kid’s Zone which will include face painting by Paint Savvy, a bouncy house, photo booth, road chalk, hula hoops, ball toss and bubble fun! In addition, the Raleigh Moonwalk will be on-site and if you are up for it once you’re done eating walk on over to Brooks Street Bowl and get a special discount on bowling!

Don’t forget to check out the other vendors selling other merchandise and crafts! This is a great way to score a unique locally made craft for a gift.

Here is a list of some of the food trucks that will be at the Food Truck Rodeo. Be prepared for long lines as the food is most certainly worth it! There will also be a beer tent available which is being provided by Brooks Street Bowl.
