Are you looking to move to a town with charm and only 25 minutes to Downtown Raleigh?
Wake Forest is a fantastic option and offers a plethora of fun indoor and outdoor activities. One of them is the newly renovated swimming pool! After many delays and spending $3.2 million on the project, the Town of Wake Forest officially opened the Holding Park Aquatic Center for the 2019 season over Memorial Day Weekend.
The facility is located at 133 W. Owen Avenue and has three bodies of water: six-lane 25-yard lap pool, two water slides with a plunge pool, and a children’s pool with sprayground features. A concession stand offers a variety of drinks & snacks to keep you cool and content in the North Carolina sun.
The admission prices are very reasonable and their hours are dependent on the time of season. Daily prices range from $1-$5 based on your age for Wake Forest residents. To get the most bang for your buck, Wake Forest PRCR offers a punch card pass good for 20 visits. The punch card only costs $60 for Wake Forest residents and $100 for non-Wake Forest residents.
It is a great time to buy a home in Wake Forest and if the neighborhood you are interested in does not have a community pool, no worries! You have a beautiful facility at your fingertips to help you beat the heat! Bring the family or just yourself—you will have a fun filled day in the sun!
