Coffee in Wake Forest

Who doesn’t love coffee?! Ok, I know there are quite a few people who don’t but for those who do this post is for you! I LOVE coffee, although I can only drink it before 1 PM otherwise I won’t sleep that night. But when I do want coffee I make a point to grab a cup at one of the many shops in Wake Forest. Here are a few of my favorites!

Previously known as Back Alley Coffee Shop they are a local Wake Forest Roaster which has the only Pour-Over Coffee Bar in town. The menu is small but the items are delicious! Along with pour-overs, they offer Nitro Brew, lattes, cappuccinos and for those that don’t like coffee they have a selection of teas as well! Be sure to grab a tasty sweet treat or one of their breakfast tacos.
Settle into one of the industrial looking tables they have and enjoy an amazing beverage or a tasty treat while getting that work project done or completing your homework.
Be sure to grab a bag of pre-packaged beans to make a cup at home or to send to family and friends who don’t live nearby. It will also make for a great house warming, birthday or holiday gift!

Conveniently located off 98 in the Gateway Commons shopping area and close to the Heritage Subdivision. This coffee shop is a must if you want fantastic coffee and a cozy and comfy atmosphere to do work! This location also host “Happy Hour” however I have not attended this event so I cannot speak to it but reviews online state that it is a must do!
The menu is similar to most standard coffee shops but man oh man are the drinks delicious! The cappuccino is a favorite and the lattes are spot on! The pastries that you can order as well are totally worth it and I highly encourage! This place gives that large chain found throughout Wake Forest and the world a run for its money!

Located in the heart of downtown Wake Forest this is the perfect location for a coffee shop! Whether you are there to hang out, do work or grab a cup to go you won’t be disappointed.
This coffee shop has an awesome homey vibe where you will always find people hanging out with friends or doing school work at one of the many tables offered. The art on the walls make it visually appealing as well.
The drinks here are fantastic and are similar to those found at the big chain coffee shops. There are quite a few options to choose from. Want a hot drink, try a cappuccino or latte. Want a cold drink opt for a traditional iced coffee or get one of the blended ice Frappuccino drinks. Whatever you get you won’t be disappointed!
Wake Forest Coffee is also in a great location for those visiting the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market which is within walking distance. Grab your favorite drink and maybe a pastry and take a stroll downtown and over to the market. It’s a great way to spend a few hours out and about on a Saturday!
This location also offers a meeting place upstairs for local Wake Forest businesses to meet and network. Check out their website for more information.
