First Friday Flix
Fun monthly movie screenings feature a wide variety of great favorites! First Friday Flix are free and open to the general public!
Due to the terms and conditions outlined in its agreement with the Motion Picture Licensing Corporation, the Renaissance Centre is not permitted to announce the title of each month’s film to the general public. However, the Renaissance Centre may publicize movie titles through its email subscription service and the Special Events Hotline. To obtain the title of each month’s featured film, sign up for E-News or call the Special Events Hotline at 919-435-9428.
Learn to Ballroom Dance

Wake Forest Farmers Market
Check out the goods that local farmers, soapmakers, cheesemakers, crafters, bakers and artists bring to this wonderful Farmers Market. From 10am -3pm, The Town of Wake Forest and Downtown Wake Forest, Inc. are planning a very exciting event! Get ready kids!! You’ll be gearing up for an exciting day of playing in a HUGE sandbox and other fun activities like making wheatgrass containers for home windowsills. And for all the adults in the crowd, you’ll have the chance to keep up to date with the newest techniques in overall gardening. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!! All Dirt Day participants also get to hunt and seek for shark teeth, paint with mud and have a ton of other fun with Master Gardeners.
Music will be offered, dancing in the streets and lots of yummy food vendors will be on hand. Let’s SHAKE THOSE WINTER BLUES and have fun at Dirt Day!
