Time To Start Thinking About Summer Camps

Although it’s only the beginning of March, it’s time to start thinking about summer camps for the little ones in your life. There are so many wonderful places in Wake Forest that offer summer camps, track out camps and the beloved ‘Parent’s Night Out’. We’re truly lucky to have so many options right here in Wake Forest.

Tumble Gym – Summer Camps run from the week of June 13th to August 26th. Kids will enjoy gymnastics, tumbling, playing games, going outside and much more! Children ages 4-12 are welcome and they ask that each child bring two snacks and a lunch. The Tumble Gym is located in The Factory.

Camp Chillin’ – Offered by the Polar Ice House of Wake Forest, and located conveniently in The Factory, Camp Chillin’ offers fun daytime activity camp where kids can learn and play all day long in their state of the art facility.  Thanks to the awesome dynamic of The Factory, campers get to enjoy tons of great activities without having to leave the building.

Prime Time Hockey – Also located in The Factory, Prime Time Hockey offers a variety of summer camps from the week of June 6th through late August. Range of ages and skill levels available.

Progressive Music Center – Registration is now open for the Wake Forest location of Progressive Music Center for weeks June 20-24, July 18-22 and August 8-12. Each Friday there will be a ‘final concert’ with drink and food vouchers for parents. Very cool!

YMCA – As always, the YMCA has so many wonderful opportunities for youth. With options like Camp High Hopes, Camp Kerr, Camp Kerr CILT, Jump Rope Camp or the ever-popular Camp Kanata Day Camp, your kids will surely be jumping for joy with excitement!

Artful Mind – This wonderful Wake Forest art oasis offers so many fun and unique classes for all ages and artistic abilities and levels. They have recently announced many fun weeks of summer camp that will run from the week of June 6th through the week of August 29th. From ‘art on broadway’ to ‘American Girls’ and everything in between, Artful Mind has many summer camp options.

Town of Wake Forest – The Town of Wake Forest never disappoints with the variety of classes and camps that they offer – not just for kids, but great classes for adults, too! This summer the Town is offering Camp Nahele, art camps, Lego camps, theater camps, enrichment camps and athletic camps. There is truly something for everyone!

Spanish For Fun! – SFF offers fun summer camps for children ages 6 months to 7 years old. Their camp gives children the opportunity to do numerous exciting activities like arts and crafts, computer lessons, games and sports, gymnastics, cooking lessons, latin folklore, splash days and much more!
