Check Your Pantries!

Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry Is In Need

Folks, The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry in Wake Forest needs your help NOW! The shelves are empty and they cannot wait until the weekend. We are all familiar with the food drives during the holidays. That is when the pantries are full. It’s during times like mid August when they need the most help. The local pantry serves the needs of people in Wake Forest, NC, Youngsville, NC and Rolesville, NC. Approximately 200 families are registered and come by every week so that they may have enough food. This is not just taking care of adults. There are seniors and children effected as well. Gang, many of these children eat only at school where a hot meal is provided.

The link to the pantry is below. It is located at 149 East Holding Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587. They are not open all day or even every day as it is staffed by volunteers. They are open for donations from 9:00AM to 12:00 Noon M, W, F.

Wake Forest Food Pantry Needs Food

I am making a plea to you to assist us at The Kima Real Estate Group in making an effort to re-suplly the Pantry! If 200 of us made a sincere effort and filled a grocery cart full (like we do for ourselves) and brought that to the pantry we could help in re-supplying. That is a grass roots effort. Of course we need the help of local area churches, schools etc as well. I realize that this is a Wake Forest real estate blog and website. However, we are all in this together. Can we count on you?

If you cannot drop off food this Friday between 9-12, call me. I’ll find a way to help you, help others. Spread the word! http://www.triareaministry.com/

Thank you,
Peter Kima
