Wake Forest Parks Getting a Sprayground?

The Town of Wake Forest and the Wake Forest Kiwanis Club Partner

Wake Forest Kiwanis Club

Great news for Wake Forest residents that love the water but not yet have a coveted pool membership somewhere in the area…..the Town of Wake Forest and the Wake Forest Kiwanis Club have teamed up to raise the funds to build the first of 4 Spraygrounds!  What in the world is a sprayground you may ask!  It is a part of a park that has water shooting out of the ground and various structures.  These structures may be in the shape of hoops, dragons, mushrooms, leaves…you name it.  The idea is to have these parts be interchangeable so that the 4 parks can be “new” every year!

These spraygrounds are independent of the pool.  The first one at Holden Park will draw from Heritage Wake Forest, all local Wake Forest residents and beyond!  The need for a second, third and fourth will be great!

Interested in learning more about these spraygrounds?  Want to make a tax deductible donation?  Contact us here at Wake Forest Homes as Peter Kima is the current President of the Wake Forest Kiwanis Club.
