The continued growth of Wake Forest is amazing….even in these down times.  As one heads up Route 1A (South Main to the locals) you have seen the addition of a Mellow Mushroom, Taco Bell, Golden Coral, a Laser Car Wash, SOHO Bakery, among others recently.  In that same area you will now see the addition of an Auto Zone (the land is now cleared) and and Aldi’s Market.   

Not too long ago there were very few option for dinner and entertainment for Wake Forest residents.  Jen and I found ourselves tiring of the same choices.  Now, I can’t get Jen to leave our wonderful little town.  Fact is we have too many choices in some cases…there are restaurants that have been open for months that we have yet to visit.  We used to joke that all Wake Forest was missing was a bowling alley.  A little secret only for those of you reading this…there are 2 men working as I type this towards adding a bowling alley to Wake Forest.  Come on.  EVERYONE likes to bowl.  You may not bowl all of the time but when you have bowled you enjoyed it.
